After years of research, Reebok has been able to produce a running shoe, the Forever Floatride GROW, that is 60% plant-based. The upper mesh, sock liner, midsole, and outsole include materials like eucalyptus tree bark, algae, castor beans, and rubber. The remaining 40% of the shoe is still made out of plastic to ensure the high-performance for a running shoe.
